Social, Recreational, and Educational Support

At Ailsa Care, we work with children, young adults, and elderly clients to support them in many aspects of their personal life. Through rigorous training, our care team understand the numerous mental and physical challenges our clients face, working with them to enhance their ability to thrive in the local community.

We take the pressure off by supporting the arrangement of appointments and visits with doctors, dentists, school, colleges, universities or the workplace and day centres. We understand how daunting these visits can be. That’s why we prioritise both the administrative and emotional support required to make these experiences stress-free. This allows our clients, and their loved ones, to feel comfortable.

Additionally, we encourage our clients, where possible, to engage in social activities that build their confidence, such as meeting friends and family or attending social functions, pubs and clubs, cinema, or theatre. No matter the occasion, our friendly care team will be there to escort and assist clients on these visits.

If you are interested in our Social, recreational, and educational support, our friendly operations team are always here for a call to discuss how we can help. You can reach our team on 01324 230111.

Respite Services for the peace of mind of family & friends:

We understand the demands of care on everyone in the family. That’s why we offer a flexible range of respite services that support not only the client, but their loved ones.

Respite services may be planned from as little as 1 hour a week (to allow family carers time to shop or socialise) or for example a two-week block booking, to allow family members to go on holiday or take a break, knowing that loved ones are being cared for. We tailor this care offer to the individual, ensuring our help allows peace of mind and high-quality support.
